Frontier Tubular Solutions Completes Acquisition of Threading Assets, Expanding Its Service Offering
Houston, TX – July 1, 2024 – Frontier Tubular Solutions (“Frontier”) is pleased to announce the installation of a robust array of threading assets at its Houston facility. These assets equip Frontier to extend its service portfolio to include production line threading of premium, semi-premium, and API connections on Oil Country Tubular Goods, providing customers with inspection, storage, and full-length threading capacity located in one convenient location.
The acquisition augments Frontier’s ability to provide turnkey solutions to customers, enhancing service quality and responsiveness and eliminating costs related to transportation of pipe for additional services and storage.
Frontier’s Director of Operations, Leon Elliott, stated, “The acquisition of these assets will provide additional tools for Frontier to expand the one stop shop that our customers desire. With these additional resources, our valued customers can look forward to further quality and reliability in OCTG services from Frontier and our partners, Lincoln Manufacturing and Permian Enterprises.”
The additional equipment not only enables Frontier to begin threading services immediately with a seamless transition for its existing customers, but also supports synergies with Lincoln Manufacturing. Lincoln sales manager Leslie Ford commented, “I am very excited about the service opportunities this acquisition brings to Lincoln Manufacturing. The addition of these thread lines allows us the flexibility to incorporate inspection and storage capabilities that were previously unavailable.”
“This acquisition represents another step forward for the Frontier platform,” said Dan West, Director at SCF Partners. “We are pleased to see the Frontier team better equipped to serve its customers.”
