Centurion Acquires Trido Energy Services, Provider of Solar-Powered Production Equipment and Carbon Credit Management Services
Calgary, Canada – April 2022 – Centurion Group (“Centurion” or “the Group”), a global leader in the supply of rentals and services to critical industries, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Trido Energy Services (“Trido”), a leading provider of sustainable and innovative solar-powered production equipment and end-to-end carbon credit management solutions to the energy industry based in Calgary, Canada.
The acquisition of Trido is a significant milestone for Centurion, representing its first-ever acquisition of a renewable energy technology company – a truly transformational move that takes the Group’s ESG strategy to the next level. Trido’s equipment is powered by innovative solar technology, offering customers environmentally-friendly products that are simple to integrate with existing wellsite legacy technology.
Trido has developed a fully integrated end-to-end carbon credit management service utilizing their equipment to reduce customer greenhouse gas emissions and generate carbon tax credits. Carbon tax credits can be used by customers to assist with their journey to greener energy production and ultimately to achieving net-zero emissions.
